2.7. Evaporator plants for the treatment of radioactive liquids
  • Plants for the treatment of waste water with low radioactive contamination. The principle is based on the separation of the wastewater by a distillation process. Non-volatile substances (salts / solids) - and thus also the bound radioactivity - are retained in the concentrate, while the pure water content is distilled off by purifying the steam produced.
